The Gen4’s design is based on a Modular Back Strap (MBS) with an integrated short-frame control block. The MBS allows the shooter to customize the grip size to suit their hand. Changing the grip panels is quick and easy. When using an optional grip panel, the grip angle of the GLOCK “Safe Action” pistol remains unchanged, ensuring consistent accuracy.
The Gen4’s magazine release is replaceable and features an enlarged contact surface. Additionally, the frame and interchangeable grip panels of the Gen4 pistols have a textured surface (Gen4 RTF finish) for improved grip.
Furthermore, the Gen4 models are equipped with a tandem recoil spring, reducing recoil and extending spring life.
The Modular Optic System (MOS) allows the user to use the pistol with an electronic sight. An adapter plate (02 = Trijicon RMR) for mounting a red dot sight is included.
