The Taurus Raging Hunter was awarded the “Golden Bullseye Award” by American Hunter magazine in 2019 as “Hunting Handgun of the Year” for its innovative design and reliability.
A common criticism of revolvers is their smaller cylinder capacity compared to semi-automatic weapons. The Raging Hunter, however, holds seven rounds. The weapon features a barrel shroud with a Picatinny rail (Mil-STD-1913) for easy mounting of a scope. The barrel comes factory-fitted with a compensator that noticeably reduces muzzle rise.
