The modern semi-automatic single-action pistol is equipped with a firing pin lock, a stainless steel slide with distinctive serrations, an integrated firing pin safety, and a short-travel cocking trigger.
Additionally, the APX features an ergonomically shaped, glass-fiber-reinforced polymer grip frame with interchangeable backstraps (modules available in sizes S, M, and L). Furthermore, the pistol incorporates a modular chassis design with a serialized, interchangeable grip frame. Grip angle, barrel axis, and grip surfaces are optimized for maximum efficiency.
Furthermore, this version of the APX allows for the easy mounting of a mini red dot sight. This is achieved using an adapter plate (not included) directly on the slide. The pistol also features a dovetailed, interchangeable 3-dot sight with white contrast inserts.
