The Savage Revel Classic is a modern lever-action rifle from the Massachusetts-based manufacturer. Made with modern materials and manufacturing methods, yet with a classic look, the Revel offers the shooter a reliable rimfire rifle for sporting or hunting purposes. The Revel features a takedown system , meaning the rifle can be quickly disassembled into two parts without tools for easy transport or space-saving storage.
The action is buttery smooth, yet the trigger pull is crisp. The magazine is a classic tubular type, loaded from the front, and the safety is a classic push-button safety above the trigger. The lever-action rifle comes standard with adjustable iron sights, the receiver is prepared for optics mounting, and the cocking lever has been enlarged for easy operation while wearing gloves. The forend and buttstock are made of walnut.
Please note:
When disassembled, the bolt should only be closed with a safety flag, as it will otherwise be difficult to reopen.
The bolt/cocking lever must be open during disassembly and reassembly!
