Small size, superb optics: Thanks to its length of 285 mm, the STC straight-eyepiece telescope fits into any backpack. Weighing only 980 g, it’s the ideal choice for tours in rough terrain and remote areas. The cleverly designed half-shell base makes it easy to set up without a tripod and allows for unobstructed operation of the focus and zoom wheels at all times. When used with the optional VPA, the STC is perfect for digiscoping. The carrying strap is the perfect finishing touch.

Big performance in a compact package

At 285 mm in length, the STC is smaller than a sheet of A4 paper. Its light weight of less than one kilogram (980 g) makes it a suitable companion for demanding activities and extended travels. One of the biggest challenges for the product developers at the Tyrolean family business was to incorporate such high optical performance into this compact form. Stefan Hämmerle of SWAROVSKI OPTIK proudly explains: “Optical perfection packed into a small product requires a great deal of effort from our optical engineers and designers. They had to push the boundaries of physics to the absolute limit with the STC once again. The result is magnificent.”

Easy to use

The ATC impresses not only with its outstanding optics in SWAROVISION quality. Another added benefit is its practical usability. A half-ball mount ensures stable support for the telescope even without a tripod and allows for unobstructed rotation of the focus and zoom wheels at all times. A carrying strap for the telescope is included.

Compatible with VPA

Like most SWAROVSKI OPTIK observation optics, the new compact telescope can be easily connected to a smartphone using the Variable Phone Adapter (VPA). This allows observations to be captured instantly.
