The Taurus Raging Hunter was awarded the “Golden Bullseye Award” by American Hunter magazine in 2019 as “Hunting Handgun of the Year” for its innovative design and reliability.
A common criticism of revolvers is their smaller cylinder capacity compared to semi-automatic weapons. The Raging Hunter, however, holds seven rounds. The weapon features a barrel shroud with a Picatinny rail (Mil-STD-1913) for easy mounting of a scope. The barrel comes factory-fitted with a compensator that noticeably reduces muzzle rise. Taurus Revolver
This revolver combines all the essential features that quality-seeking handgun enthusiasts look for in a revolver. Ergonomics and shooting comfort are achieved through the revolver’s exceptional balance, the lightweight barrel with an additional compensator, and the rubberized grips with cushioning inserts. For those who prefer shooting with open sights, the rear sight is fully adjustable. Alternatively, optics can be mounted on the integrated Picatinny rail located on the top of the barrel shroud, which can be used to mount practical accessories such as red dot sights.
The barrel design, together with the ergonomic grip, makes the Raging Hunter an ideal revolver for short and medium distances for ambitious sport shooters or for tracking wounded game.
